How long does an EV or hybrid diagnosis or repair take?
A diagnostic scan typically takes 45 minutes to 1 hour. Repair time depends on the fault — a charging module or sensor repair can often be done same-day, while battery work may take longer. We’ll always give you a time estimate when booking.
Will you tell me before carrying out an expensive repair?
Always. We diagnose first, explain exactly what’s wrong and quote the repair before any work begins. You decide how to proceed — no surprise charges.
Can a battery fault be fixed without replacing the whole battery pack?
Often, yes. Many HV battery issues come down to a single faulty cell, module, or BMS fault rather than the entire pack failing. We’ll always diagnose the actual cause rather than assuming the worst.
Do you check battery health before buying a used EV or hybrid?
